The Line (Rotoscope): by Thomas Barr

The Line (Rotoscope)
This is a 2D Rotoscope Animation that was inspired and stylized after the end credits of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime. I used the Hot Scots Drumline video- off of youtube -as the reference for the Rotoscopes character movements. (links to the videos I used as reference is preview with the video) The characters and background are design after my days in Drumline in high school.

Mood Board
I was in Drumline in high school, so I deiced to use my schools auditorium and band uniforms design for the characters and background. I made characters into simple shapes so I could focus more on the movement.

JUJUTSU KAISEN - Ending | Lost in Paradise feat. AKLO

Thumbnails
These was my rough plan for what I wanted to happen during the performance. ( I ended up cutting out the curtains opening and closing as it was not necessary for this project)

First Look
This was my first pass of the full animation. I found out that the color had to be more contained and the lines a little clean to be more readable in its movements.

Rotoscope Notes
These were notes on what I had planed or was changing after my "First Look" at the rotoscope.
